Owned by Seneca Clark Francione, Julie Decedue, and Sandy Giardi, Three Bean Press,
LLC creates, edits, designs, publishes, markets, and sells books. The
Boston-based company, which was established in 2005, is young and eager,
with an eye for visually dramatic book design and clean, pleasing writing.
Three Bean Press got its start by publishing children's books written and
illustrated by the owners. With three children's books on the market
(Lily + the Imaginary Zoo, The Yellowest Yellow Lab, and
Frankie Goes to Fenway: The Tale of the Faithful, Red Sox-Loving Mouse),
the company is now taking on works by other authors.
Recently, Three Bean Press worked with Chef Peter Davis, of The Charles
Hotel's restaurant Henrietta's Table in Cambridge, Mass., to produce a cookbook
(Fresh & Honest: Food From the Farms of New England and the Kitchen of
Henrietta's Table) due to hit stores in November 2008.
Three Bean Press also creates and produces printed materials, including
magazines, catalogs, and brochures, for local businesses. The small publishing
company works closely with its clients to create products that authors and
businesses can be proud of. A variety of a la carte services and custom
publishing packages are offered, giving clients the help that they need to
produce a stellar product.
