- Aesthetic editing of book layout
- We will proof your manuscript as many times as necessary for a clean book

Design/Production:
- Creating several design concepts from which to choose
- Creating an InDesign document for the entire book utilizing selected design concept
- Creating visually pleasing layout of chapters and special sections - Offering advice on reader-friendly fonts
- Creating a cover design
- Help selecting photographs to use
- Help finding illustrators and photographers
- Placement of photographs and/or illustrations throughout the book
- Retouching of photographs as necessary
- Creating templates for special sections such as table of contents, indexes, glossaries, sidebars, etc.
- Creating PDF versions for proofing by author and requested readers
- We will make as many changes to the design and layout as necessary for a clean book

Publishing/Printing:
- Collecting quotes from printers
- Working with printers to negotiate price based on final size and material decisions
- Advice on the number of books to print, appropriate retail pricing, book size, cover materials, paper stock, binding, page count, and other printing logistics
- Preparation of copyright page
- Preparation of legal and sales-ready information including arranging for copyright, purchasing and placing a barcode with proper price, arranging for International Standard Book Number, Advance Book Information, Library of Congress Control Number, etc.
- Use of the Three Bean Press name and logo
- Preparing files to be printer-ready
- Selecting final printer and working closely with them to print books
- Proofing of irises/bluelines supplied by printer prior to final print

- Warehousing a select number of books at a time for sales through Three Bean Press networks

- Delivery of books to a distributor
- Delivery of books to stores that order through Three Bean Press
